T-Fiber provides dedicated, high-speed and reliable connectivity to Government Institutions across Telangana, in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.9, dated 08-12-2024. The initiative is designed to strengthen the digital infrastructure of government offices and enable seamless access to online applications, e-governance platforms, digital services, communication systems, and other technology-enabled government operations. Reliable connectivity helps government institutions improve coordination, streamline workflows, and deliver services more efficiently.

Under this initiative, more than 97,115 government institutions have been identified for connectivity across the state, with approximately 55,000 priority institutions already in scope. These priority institutions span key departments including Education, Health, Home, Agriculture, and Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (PR&RD). Connecting institutions across these critical sectors helps create a common digital connectivity foundation for government operations and supports the increasing adoption of digital services.

T-Fiber’s statewide optical fibre network, spanning more than 43,000 km of underground infrastructure across all 33 districts of Telangana, provides the backbone for extending reliable connectivity to government institutions across urban, semi-urban, and rural areas. By bringing high-speed connectivity closer to government offices and institutions, T-Fiber supports a more connected digital ecosystem and contributes to the state’s broader vision of efficient, accessible, and technology-enabled governance.
