Hon’ble Union Minister for Communications Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia Ji, launched the Samridhi Gram Phygital Services Pilot Project at Umri Village, Guna district, Madhya Pradesh -14 March 2026. Mr. Venu Prasad Panneru, MD T-Fiber, attended this prestigious program. On the occasion, he greeted Shri Scindia Ji and interacted with him. This initiative currently features only three Samridhi Gram Kendras across the country, making it a significant program aimed at delivering integrated physical and digital services in rural areas. The center provides villagers access to services such as Government schemes and documentation ,Telemedicine and health consultations, Digital education and skill training , Agriculture advisory and market information.

The T-Fiber Board Meeting was conducted at the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat on 12 March 2026.

Hon’ble IT Minister and Chairman of T-Fiber, Shri D. Sridhar Babu garu, extended financial assistance of 3 lakh rupees to support the education and welfare of the children of late Shri B. Nagaraja Rao, District Manager of T-Fiber, who passed away prematurely due to illness.Acting on the directions of the Hon’ble Minister, T-Fiber Corporation arranged financial support for the children. The Corporation’s Managing Director, Shri P. Venu Prasad garu, facilitated the creation of a 3 lakh rupees fixed deposit on behalf of the organisation to help secure the children’s future and support their educational needs.

T-Fiber wins an Award under the "Artificial Intelligence Category” by Technology Sabha. The award recognizes T-Fiber’s pioneering efforts in establishing Telangana’s first Rural AI Lab. Mr. P. Venu Prasad, Managing Director – T-Fiber, personally received the award on behalf of the organization. Speaking on the occasion, he reiterated T-Fiber’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and empowering rural communities through high-speed broadband connectivity and innovative technology initiatives. Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble CM and IT minister Shri D. Sridhar babu garu,T-Fiber has emerged as a key enabler of digital transformation across Telangana.

T-Fiber, along with IIT Hyderabad and the WiSig team, met the District Collector of Khammam, Shri Anudeep Durishetty garu -IAS, to discuss the rollout of the 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) pilot project in Ramakrishnapuram Village. The discussions focused on enabling robust last-mile connectivity to support smart village services. Subsequently, the team visited Ramakrishnapuram Village and held interactions with local community bodies to assess ground-level requirements and understand the digital service needs of the villagers.

Mr. Venu Prasad Panneru, Managing Director, T-Fiber, extended New Year greetings to the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri M. Bhatti Vikramarka Garu and briefed him on T-Fiber’s 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA)–based wireless Wi-Fi pilot project, being implemented in collaboration with IIIT Hyderabad. The pilot is proposed to be launched shortly in a remote village of Khammam district.

IIT Hyderabad, WiSig Networks, and T-Fiber have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) during the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025 to jointly develop a 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) network for remote villages, with support from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).

T-Fiber successfully laid 2 kms of underground Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) to deliver high-speed, secure, and reliable internet connectivity for the Telangana Rising Global Summit at Bharat Future City. Executed within a tight timeline in a zero-network zone, the project created a robust digital backbone that enabled seamless connectivity for delegates, departments, exhibitors, and media, reinforcing T-Fiber's commitment to building world-class digital infrastructure for Telangana.

T-Fiber has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nirmaan Organization,supported by EQUIPPP,to facilitate CSR partnerships aimed at providing high-speed internet connectivity to Government Schools across Telangana.

At India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia praised Telangana’s T-Fiber pilot villages initiative, calling it a “role model for other States.”
